Children's Ministry
Building foundations for young children to begin a lifetime relationship with God.
Nursery
Nursery is available during Sunday School and Morning worship for infants through age 3.
Junior Sunday School
Junior Sunday School is for grades Pre K (4 year olds) to 6th grade. This ministry uses music, Sunday school classes, and drama to bring God’s word to life!
Sunday Night Children's Ministry
Evan and Melissa Land lead the children’s ministry on Sunday evenings throughout the year. They live in Hillsdale and have four children.
Their goal is to build on the biblical foundations taught in Sunday School and the morning worship services. The Sunday Night Children’s Ministry meets during the evening worship service from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
During the school year, the ministry follows the Patch the Pirate curriculum, which emphasizes worship through song, Bible study and memorization, and encourages daily devotions. The program is divided into two age groups: the “Patch Club” for 1st–6th grade students, and the “PeeWee Club” for Pre-K and Kindergarten-aged children.
In the summer and winter breaks, the ministry adopts a more relaxed format, using a variety of study materials to continue teaching the children.
Each evening includes a time for snacks and games, helping to create a fun and welcoming environment.
Youth Group

Our mission is to help each student grow a Christ-centered relationship that will continue into adulthood. We hope that when they leave the youth group there will be a foundation and desire to serve the Lord using their unique God-given gifts.
Adult Ministries
Men Mentoring Men
Men Mentoring Men is a ministry of Hillsdale Bible Church that meets quarterly. It is designed to foster spiritual growth, accountability, and Christ-centered relationships among men. This ministry provides a welcoming environment for fellowship, where men can encourage one another in their walk with Christ through study of God’s word, honest conversations, and mutual support.
Women Watering Women
Women Watering Women is a supportive group who gather bimonthly to uplift one another through shared burdens, encouragement, and prayer. It is open to all interested women.
Deaconesses
Deaconesses serve the people of HBC in a number of ways as prescribed by the elders and the church constitution. Some of their functions include hospitality, visitation, prayer support, and encouraging our local body of Christ.
Sunday School
Sunday Mornings at 9:45
The Sunday School Program at Hillsdale Bible Church is a vital part of our ministry, offering in-depth biblical instruction for every age group—from young children to adults. As a Bible-teaching and Bible-believing fellowship, we are committed to teaching the whole counsel of God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and care. Each class is designed to help participants grow in their knowledge of Scripture and apply it to their daily lives in a meaningful way.
Our aim is to foster spiritual growth and maturity, equipping believers to walk faithfully with Christ and live out their faith with confidence. Whether building a foundation of truth in young hearts or deepening theological understanding in mature believers, our Sunday School program serves as a cornerstone for discipleship and lifelong learning in God’s Word.
Wednesday Prayer Group
At Hillsdale Bible Church, our elder-led Wednesday night prayer groups are a vital part of our church family’s spiritual life. These gatherings meet both at the church and in members’ homes, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where deep fellowship can flourish.
Each group includes a time of Bible study, where participants engage with God’s Word together, followed by a focused time of prayer.
These evenings are intentionally designed to draw us closer to Christ and to one another. By gathering in smaller settings, we can encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, and seek the Lord together in unity.
Music & Choir
We are a church that values the rich heritage of traditional worship, and our music reflects that commitment. We believe music is a vital expression of our love and reverence for God.
The songs we sing are theologically grounded, easy for the congregation to engage with, and chosen to glorify the Lord. Our worship includes a blend of timeless hymns and newer Christ-exalting songs that carry deep meaning and biblical truth.
An adult choir leads us in worship each week and offers special music to further uplift and edify. Since the Lord Himself is the Creator of music, it is our joy and privilege to lift our voices in praise to Him!
